Amare is one of the more classy free agents in the NBA, takning out a full page ad in the AZ Republic to take the time to thank, the fans, Robert Sarver and the Colangelos, for bringing him into the league and making him the person he is today. Come on this has got to be one of the classiest things a player can do after deciding to leave a team that he has been with his entire career, at least he did not make the mistake Lebron did by doing this whole live special to announce his decision. But
az tribe are you already considering of Hill moving to another team next year?
Yup. I was considering it last year too. I consider Hedo a better 3 than a 4 and I believe (based on what I've seen in college ball and summer league) that Lawal is ready to play backup minu
everyone hear the potential trade news on az central .com??? Apparantely we have renounced his rights yet, and can still do a sign and trade! And amares' agent was quoted as saying that amare is willing to still help phoenix by agreeing to a sign and trade with New York! And david lee might still be a target???
Sarver's goal since he bought the team was to make profit, not win championships. True Suns fans should realize by now that every trade or signing or draft decisions were all because of money and Sarver looking into his wallet before saying yes or no.
The only time Sarver didn't think about money was with Shaq, but he probably made money just off the extra jersey and ticket sales so he won anyway.
For whatever scenario a trade might fall in, He's basically saying he'd only veto it as long as he was able to cut more payroll that he gets back!!! I'm not sure how else that would happen for us? Any ideas???The main 2 places that I first found the article were on az central.com and yahoo sports! What do you guys think this means for our team?
Hey does anyone remember when it is that the az republic puts out there list? And are there any sites that offer at least reasonablly correct second round mocks? (besides draftexpress, nbadraft.net, and the usual databases!)?
My money is on STARVER (misspelled the way his name should be)will not sign Amare to a guaranteed 6 year contract causing him and Kerr to fall out. What really bums me is that I did not renew my season tickets in 09-10 season because of STARVERS cheap tactics, but fell prey to Suns gimmick for playoff tickets. That is if you wanted 1st of 2nd roll playoff tickets you had to buy 16 possible games with no refund on tickets not used. Those moneys went towards 10-11 regular season tickets. So mad at myself
Not sure how to add links just yet, still learning to use this laptop, and multitasking functions, But if you go to : Bright side of the sun.com They have all the info, and the videos on the players, and personal notes on them as well! It also in az central.com too I believe. Let me know what you guys think of the players?
I was of the mindset that they needed to trade Stoudemire last season, preferably before the start of the season. While I absolutely enjoyed the Suns playoffs this year, it ended with heartache.
I am still very much of the mindset that we do not resign Amare (Typing his name as Amar'e is stupid in my opinion). Basketball, more than any other of the major sports is one where one bad contract can kill your team until you some
